Hey! Let's talk about the video release of BUMFIGHTS! Gawd, it's been deemed illegal (only a day or two after purchasing the DVD) but am sure you people would LOVE it!!!!

well, that didnt' really answer my question. What exactly are we referring to? are we talking about people fighting with there butts? or are we talking about homeless people fighting. Unless I am mistaken, didn't one of those detective shows, the one with Marky Mark in it have a show about movies like that. where a documentary was being filmed (supposed documentary) about homeless people, and one guy wound up killing another guy, just to get a couple bucks or something like that?

Yea, BUMFIGHTS, what else would it be? A couple guys with a camcorder give bums booze for doing dumbass bone-breaking stunts, give them more booze for getting tattooed with a bold "BUMFIGHT" logo (one guy on his forehead, someone else on his knuckles), give others booze & a pair of pliers to pull out their own teeth, piss in a 40oz and give it to some other bum, and have a recurreng segment called "BumHunter"; some guy wearing Bananna Republic and talking in a fake Aussie accent (mimicing that "Crocodile Hunter" show) sneaks up to sleeping homeless people, a few people rush the person, hogtie them, check their teeth dandruff lack of cleanliness etc. on camera, then leave. Though not on TV, it's a new low in the "reality" craze.

I am telling you there was some sort of crime show on not too long ago that was all about that very type of movie. it was very intersting, and quite disturbing the extent that homeless people would go to, to get their booze....pathetic, get a job for crying out loud.

It's not quite as simple as just saying "get a job". Some of them were career bums, brains so deteriorated by drugs & alcohol that being a vagrant has become their way of life. Wouldn't get a job even if they HAD a mailing address to put on an application. Others were somewhat intelligent but just down on their luck & unable to afford a SoCal apartment. Still others were obviously born mentally deficient and slipped through the cracks in whatever handicapped assistance programs are available in the city.
